Students attended workshop which focused on "Soft Skills" sponsored by Alabama Power Company, Hyundai, UAB, and JAG (Job's for Alabama Graduates). Today's employers have no problem finding employees with the education required the REAL problem is finding employees with the soft skills reqired to get and keep a job. Soft skills include showing up to work on time, teamwork, collaboration, a good work ethic and more. Talladega County Schools through the 21st Century Initiative had made the focus of soft skills an integral part of todays education.
